Information Collection and Use
Sport and Social Club is the sole administrator of the information collected on this

harm to the user or others). Sport and Social Club collects
information from our users at several points on our website.
Sport and Social Club User Profile:
Sport and Social Club will collect and use user details for billing purposes, to
anticipate and resolve problems with your service, or to create and

updates and changes via email. Sport and Social Club is not liable to users who

movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP

Newsletter:
If a user wishes to subscribe to Sport and Social Club's newsletter, contact

When you register for league play, you automatically receive a
subscription to our bi-weekly email newsletter ("The Chalkboard"). You may
opt out of this after you register for Sport and Social Club leagues. If you
unsubscribe, the Sport and Social Club is not liable for any disruption in league
services that may result due to missed communication.
Surveys & Contests:
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or
contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely
voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose
this information. Information requested may include contact information
(such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as
postal code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the
winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of
monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
Cookies:
We use cookies to record session information, such as items that you add to your SSC shopping cart when you register for programs, leagues, events, or tournaments and to help you enter your user profile password less. "Cookies" are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing these services to you.
Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information.
When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information
is protected both online and off-line. Personal information collected on
Sport and Social Club is stored in a secure operating environment that is not
available to the public. We always use industry-standard encryption technologies (Thawte SSL certificates) when transferring and receiving sensitive consumer data (such as credit card numbers) exchanged with our site. Credit card information is not stored in our database.

Legal Requests; Emergencies:
We cooperate with law enforcement inquiries and demands for information that are made under force of law. Therefore, we may provide personal information to law enforcement agencies in what we believe to be emergency situations, we may provide personal information where required by statute, court order, legal process or lawful authority, and we may provide it to our legal counsel in connection with the foregoing.
Things you should not do at our site:
Do not use any of our web based to software to market competing products. That is a total weasel move. We welcome the competition, but not at the expense of the annoyance it causes our members. Don't email people in our system about anything non-league related with our their prior consent. Faliure to not be a weasel will result in you losing user priviledges, ejection from current and future SSC programs, and in some cases, a lot of legal fees defending yourself in court.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
With the Sport and Social Club User Profile, if personally identifiable information changes (such as your
email address), the user is responsible for making these changes
him or herself. This can be accomplished by logging into to your
profile and using the "edit profile" option.
Choice/Opt-out
Users who no longer wish to receive our promotional emails may opt-out of
receiving them by following the unsubscribe instruction provided in the email.
Those users, however, will still receive league-essential emails,
including, but not limited to, schedule, venue, rule changes and
disciplinary notices.
If you have any issues unsubscribing through the automated process we include in promotional emails: please don't get angry with us. Sometimes computer stuff just doesn't work correctly, no matter how hard we try. We will be more than happy to remove you manually in a very timely manner, just drop us a line to our customer service email account amd be sure to include the email address to which you are receiving our communicatios.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes at
your player profile page so our users are always aware of what information we
collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a
manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will
notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether
or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use
information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the
information was collected.
